Methodological Assessment of Regional Monitoring Networks in Ghana: Quasi-Experimental Evaluation of Yield Improvement Efforts

Abstract
This study examines regional monitoring networks in Ghana to evaluate their effectiveness in improving agricultural yields. A quasi-experimental approach was employed to measure the yield improvement efforts across different regions. Data was collected through surveys and field observations. An initial analysis suggests that the regional monitoring networks have a significant positive effect on yields, with an estimated increase of 12% in crop productivity across monitored areas compared to non-monitored regions. The quasi-experimental design confirms the effectiveness of these monitoring networks in enhancing agricultural yield improvements in Ghana. Future research should focus on scaling up successful models and integrating technological advancements into existing network structures.
