Abstract

Community health centres in South Africa play a crucial role in primary healthcare delivery. A difference-in-differences approach was employed to compare changes in service utilization before and after implementing targeted interventions at randomly selected sites. Significant increases in patient visits were observed, with a 25% rise in consultations post-intervention. The difference-in-differences model effectively demonstrated yield improvements attributable to intervention strategies. Further studies should explore the sustainability of these interventions and their impact on broader health outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
