Economic Blocs in South Sudan: A Mixed Methods Comparative Study

Abstract
This study examines regional economic blocs in South Sudan within the broader context of African studies. A mixed methods approach will be employed, integrating qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis to provide a comprehensive understanding of the economic blocs' effects. The findings indicate that while some blocs have seen significant improvements in agriculture due to improved infrastructure and market access, others struggle with governance issues leading to limited environmental protection efforts. This study concludes that regional economic blocs play a crucial role in shaping the agricultural and environmental landscapes of South Sudan but highlight the importance of effective governance for sustainable development. Recommendations include fostering collaborative governance structures within blocs and promoting equitable resource distribution to ensure both economic growth and environmental conservation.
