Abstract

In East Africa, Malawi is experiencing a growing interest in entrepreneurship and innovation hubs as vehicles for economic development. The study employs a qualitative approach to gather insights from interviews with stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers. Data is analysed using thematic content analysis. The insights from this study underscore the potential for further development of these hubs to catalyze economic growth and job creation in Malawi. Policymakers should consider incentivizing more hubs’ establishment by providing financial support, mentorship programmes, and networking opportunities.
