This perspective piece outlines a tailored strategy for digital cultural heritage preservation that balances cost-effectiveness with effectiveness. Invest in community-led initiatives to foster ownership and sustainability of digital preservation projects. Utilise existing infrastructures and local expertise to reduce costs.
