Abstract
Ethiopia's ICT infrastructure development has been a focal point of policy attention in recent years, with significant investments aimed at fostering economic growth. A mixed-method approach combining quantitative analysis of publicly available data and qualitative insights from interviews with key informants was employed. The proportion of Ethiopian households with internet access increased by 30% between and , indicating steady progress in broadband penetration. While ICT infrastructure has shown positive growth trends, its impact on economic output remains nuanced, warranting further empirical research to fully understand the interplay between these variables. Future policy efforts should focus on enhancing digital literacy and expanding access to advanced ICT services for broader socioeconomic benefits.
