Abstract

This Perspective Piece explores entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovation hubs in contemporary Senegal, situating these discussions within the broader field of African Studies. No empirical data or results were collected as this is a review-based Perspective Piece focusing on existing literature and expert insights about entrepreneurship ecosystems in Senegal. The review underscores the importance of continued investment in infrastructure and human capital for sustaining these hubs, which are crucial for driving innovation and economic diversification in Senegal. Recommendations include expanding access to funding opportunities, enhancing mentorship programmes, and fostering international collaborations to leverage global resources and expertise.
