Abstract
The Ethiopian political context has seen significant changes over the past two decades, particularly in terms of gender dynamics and power transitions. A comprehensive review of existing literature will be conducted to analyse patterns and theories related to gender and power in Ethiopian politics. This study highlights the need for continued efforts towards gender equality and empowerment within Ethiopian political systems. Policy recommendations include increasing quotas for women's representation, enhancing gender-sensitive training programmes for political leaders, and promoting public awareness campaigns to challenge traditional gender norms.
