Abstract

The post-colonial era in Egypt has seen a renaissance of African studies, with renewed interest in African philosophy as a means to reclaim cultural heritage and assert national identity. The study employs a critical review approach, synthesizing existing literature on Egyptian African philosophy from various disciplines including anthropology, sociology, and cultural studies. This theoretical framework underscores the importance of understanding Egyptian African philosophy within its sociopolitical context to foster cultural renaissance and mutual respect among diverse communities. Future research should explore intergenerational continuity in philosophical thought, comparative analysis with other African countries' philosophies, and integration into educational curricula.
