Abstract
Vocational training centers have been established in rural Uganda to empower women economically. Qualitative interviews were conducted with participants and local community leaders to collect data. Women showed significant interest in training programmes (90% expressed willingness), leading to improved economic conditions for many. The centers have been effective in enhancing women's employment opportunities, particularly in sectors like agriculture and handicrafts. Further tailored training should be provided to address specific needs of rural populations.
