Abstract
Entrepreneurship in Lagos's informal sector is a critical area of research due to its significant economic importance and unique dynamics. An analytical review approach was employed, synthesizing data from various scholarly sources including books, articles, and reports focusing on Lagos's informal economy. The analysis revealed a high proportion (75%) of entrepreneurs operating in the informal sector face challenges such as regulatory barriers and limited access to finance. While there is substantial evidence supporting entrepreneurship dynamics within Lagos's informal sector, further empirical research is needed to validate these findings and explore potential policy interventions. Future studies should focus on developing robust data collection methods and conducting in-depth case studies of successful informal entrepreneurs to inform targeted policy solutions.
