Abstract

The Sahel region in Senegal is facing significant challenges due to climate change, impacting human security across various dimensions. Theoretical synthesis and qualitative analysis will be employed to review existing literature on climate change impacts and human security in the region. The theoretical framework underscores the urgent need for integrated climate change adaptation strategies tailored to local contexts. Policy makers should prioritise early warning systems and community-based initiatives that enhance resilience against future climatic shocks.
