Abstract

This study examines the theoretical foundations that underpin early childhood education's impact on urban youth career advancement in Lagos, Nigeria, within the context of African Studies. No empirical data will be used, as the article focuses on developing a theoretical understanding of the topic. Theoretical insights suggest that early intervention in education can significantly enhance future employability among urban youth. Further research should explore the specific mechanisms through which these programmes impact career progression, with a focus on policy implications for educational interventions.
