Abstract

Philosophical thought in post-colonial Equatorial Guinea has been shaped by historical and cultural influences. A survey research approach was employed, gathering data from a diverse sample representative of Equatorial Guinean society. Themes such as identity and cultural heritage emerged prominently among respondents, with 60% indicating the importance of maintaining traditional values in contemporary discourse. The findings suggest a strong emphasis on preserving cultural roots amidst modernization efforts in philosophical thought. Further qualitative research could investigate specific philosophical schools or movements within Equatorial Guinea's post-colonial context.
