Abstract
Legal aid in remote villages of Sierra Leone is often underfunded and inaccessible due to geographical challenges. A mixed-methods approach combining surveys, interviews, and cost-benefit analysis was employed in the selected village. The model reduced service delivery costs by 20% through optimised resource allocation and improved efficiency. Innovative legal aid models can significantly enhance accessibility while maintaining cost-effectiveness for remote communities. Policy makers should consider replicating these models in other underserved areas of Sierra Leone.
