Abstract

Sexual harassment in universities is a significant issue affecting female students in Lagos, Nigeria. The existing legal and psychological support models are inadequate for addressing the unique challenges faced by survivors. Theoretical synthesis approach will be employed, integrating insights from legal studies, psychology, sociology, and gender studies to propose an adaptive model for supporting survivors. The proposed theoretical framework can serve as a guide for developing comprehensive support services that address the specific needs of sexual harassment survivors in Lagos universities. Universities should integrate this theoretical model into their existing support systems to ensure continuity of care and improve outcomes for survivors.
