Abstract

Burundi experiences significant climate variability affecting its agricultural sector, a critical economic driver. Qualitative interviews and focus group discussions with local government officials. Policy makers identified water scarcity as the most pressing challenge, influencing their agricultural policies. Local authorities need more support to implement effective climate change adaptation measures in agriculture. Enhanced collaboration between national and regional levels for policy development and implementation.
