Abstract

The Legal Status of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in East Africa is a growing concern for legal systems worldwide, including Morocco’s. The analysis draws from existing legal literature, judicial decisions, and international treaties relevant to refugee law. Morocco faces a complex legal landscape when dealing with refugees from East Africa, necessitating further legislative reforms to address these practical issues effectively. The Moroccan government should consider harmonizing its refugee laws with international standards and increase public awareness about the rights of asylum seekers and refugees.
