Abstract
Theoretical Foundations of Refugee Law in East Africa A comprehensive review and synthesis of existing legal frameworks, scholarly literature, and regional policies related to refugee status determination in East Africa. The theoretical framework elucidated provides foundational insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by East African countries in managing refugee populations. Developing tailored legislative frameworks to address the unique needs of refugees is recommended to enhance their legal status determination processes.
