Empowering Graduates through Vocational Training: A South African Perspective on Female University Entrants' Career Advancement

Abstract
This commentary focuses on the career advancement of female university graduates in Cape Town, South Africa, through vocational training programmes. Qualitative data from interviews with participants was analysed using thematic analysis methods. Vocational training significantly boosts female university graduates' employability and career prospects. Governments and educational institutions should prioritise funding for vocational training to support more female students.
