Impact of Intergenerational Training Workshops on Livelihood Stability in Northern Cameroon Agriculture

Intergenerational training workshops have been introduced to enhance agricultural productivity in Northern Cameroon's rural communities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including pre- and post-workshop surveys to measure changes in agricultural practices and income, along with qualitative interviews to explore perceptions and experiences of participants. Farmers reported an increase in the cultivation of staple crops by 30% following the workshops, leading to a corresponding rise in household incomes from $500 to $700 per month. The intergenerational training workshops have significantly contributed to enhancing agricultural productivity and income stability among Northern Cameroon's farmers, particularly through diversified cropping patterns. Further research should investigate the long-term sustainability of these interventions and explore their impact on food security.
