Abstract

Youth participation in legal frameworks across Ethiopia is increasingly recognised as a critical area of focus due to the country's demographic profile and socio-economic development challenges. The analysis draws on existing literature, official documents, and secondary data sources relevant to youth participation in law across Ethiopia. While progress has been made, significant efforts are needed to enhance youth participation at all levels of the legal system, particularly in marginalized regions. Policy makers should prioritise targeted interventions to increase youth engagement, including capacity-building programmes and inclusive consultation frameworks.
