Abstract
Youth entrepreneurship in Kano, Nigeria, has gained significant attention as a potential driver of economic development and social empowerment. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with participants of two youth entrepreneurship support programmes operating in Kano over a two-year period. Two-year support programmes have had positive impacts on youth entrepreneurs’ business performance, though challenges persist regarding access to capital and market expansion. Further research should explore long-term sustainability strategies for these programmes to ensure sustained economic benefits for participants.
