Abstract

Libya has experienced significant political instability since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in , leading to a fragmented governance structure and ongoing constitutional challenges. The analysis employs qualitative methods including a comprehensive examination of legislative documents, interviews with key stakeholders, and an assessment of public opinion surveys conducted in . Recent constitutional reviews have led to the adoption of several reforms aimed at reducing executive influence over state institutions, though implementation remains uneven across different regions. While progress has been made towards consolidating Libya's democratic framework, significant challenges persist related to enforcement and public acceptance of new policies. Further efforts are required to ensure comprehensive implementation of constitutional reforms and address regional disparities in policy adoption.
