Gender Dynamics in Moroccan Legal Frameworks: Policy Implications for Sub-Saharan Africa
Abstract
Morocco's legal framework has seen significant advancements in gender equality over recent decades. A critical review of existing legal documents, including statutes, court decisions, and scholarly articles. Gender quotas in public sector employment have been effective in increasing female representation but face challenges in implementation. Moroccan law offers a model for gender integration but requires further refinement to achieve full parity. Implementation of gender-specific quota systems should be complemented by targeted training programmes for compliance.
