Abstract

This article explores the theoretical underpinnings of economic performance in women farmers who engage in agroecological practices within the Côte d'Ivoire region. No empirical results are provided; instead, a review of existing literature on agroecological practices and economic theory is conducted to inform theoretical development. This theoretical framework provides a robust foundation for future research and policy interventions aimed at improving the economic sustainability of women farmers in agroecological contexts. Policy makers should consider promoting agroecological education and resources to support women farmers, thereby enhancing their economic resilience and productivity.
