Abstract

Elderly care in Ghanaian villages faces significant challenges related to fall risk mitigation. A qualitative examination of specific success stories from Ghanaian communities, focusing on detailed case studies and interviews with stakeholders. Community-led initiatives in two villages demonstrated a 30% reduction in reported falls among the elderly population over one year. Effective community mobilization through targeted care services has proven to be an impactful strategy for fall risk mitigation in Ghanaian villages, highlighting the importance of local engagement and support structures. Policy makers should encourage further development and implementation of community-led initiatives with a focus on health education and infrastructure improvements.
