Abstract

Online learning platforms have gained traction in vocational education, offering flexible and accessible training opportunities for diverse learner populations. A systematic literature search was conducted using databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar. Studies were critically appraised based on relevance criteria for inclusion. The analysis revealed a significant variation in success rates (mean = 75%, SD = 10%) across different online platforms, with dropout rates ranging from 20% to 45% among participating teenagers. Online learning platforms demonstrated mixed effectiveness in vocational education for rural Senegalese teenagers, necessitating tailored strategies to improve engagement and completion rates. Developers should incorporate interactive features and personalized feedback mechanisms to enhance user experience and reduce dropout rates.
