Abstract

Gender-based violence (GBV) prevention programmes have emerged as a critical strategy to address domestic abuse among married women in Côte d'Ivoire. This theoretical framework will draw upon existing literature and expert consultations to outline key components of an evaluation tool that can be used by practitioners and policymakers to assess the immediate changes resulting from GBV prevention programmes. The proposed evaluation framework aims to contribute to the understanding and effectiveness of GBV prevention efforts by providing a structured approach to assessing immediate changes resulting from such programmes. This theoretical framework can serve as a basis for future research and policy development, focusing on the implementation and impact assessment of GBV prevention strategies in similar contexts.
