Abstract

Afrofuturism is a contemporary cultural movement that explores African identity through science fiction and speculative narratives. The approach draws on existing scholarly works but does not include empirical data collection or analysis. This commentary underscores the significance of Afrofuturism for understanding African futures, particularly within Kenya's context. Further research should explore how specific Afrofuturist works impact public discourse on African development and identity.
