Abstract
Comoros is a small island nation in East Africa known for its unique cultural heritage and strategic location between India and Madagascar. A qualitative approach was employed to analyse government reports, academic literature, and interviews with stakeholders including farmers and local authorities. The implementation of land reform policies has had mixed effects on Comoros' rural economy, promoting economic diversification but also exacerbating existing inequalities. Further policy support is needed to improve access to credit for small-scale farmers and enhance the legal framework governing land tenure rights.
