Abstract

Mobile banking has emerged as a significant tool for providing financial services to micro-entrepreneurs in urban slums of Nigeria. A systematic literature search was conducted using databases such as JSTOR and Google Scholar, adhering to PRISMA guidelines for qualitative synthesis. Mobile banking has facilitated significant savings growth among micro-entrepreneurs in urban slums of Nigeria, with an average increase of 25% over the reviewed period (n=10 studies). The review underscores the potential of mobile banking for enhancing financial inclusion and entrepreneurial success in Nigeria's urban slums. Further empirical research is recommended to validate these findings and explore long-term impacts on micro-entrepreneurship.
