Abstract
Health systems resilience is crucial for effectively responding to epidemics, particularly in resource-limited settings like Africa. A systematic review of existing literature on health system resilience and epidemic management in Africa. This framework emphasizes the need for integrated surveillance, strengthened community engagement, and robust logistics support to enhance resilience. Policy makers should prioritise investments in infrastructure, training, and coordination mechanisms to improve epidemic preparedness.
