Abstract

The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) among adolescents in Niger is alarming, with significant implications for health and development outcomes. Theoretical synthesis will be employed, drawing from existing literature on nutrition programmes, public health policies, and epidemiological studies relevant to IDA in African settings. Theoretical analysis underscores the need for targeted and context-specific approaches to combat adolescent IDA effectively. Future research should focus on replicating successful programmes in different settings and contexts, with a particular emphasis on monitoring and evaluating programme impacts over extended periods.
