Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the performance of rural clinics in Senegal by analysing clinical outcomes. Panel data estimation techniques will be employed to analyse longitudinal data from multiple rural clinics across Senegal, focusing on clinical outcomes such as patient recovery rates and treatment efficacy. The preliminary results show that clinic performance varies significantly by region, with a notable improvement in recovery rates following the implementation of new diagnostic tools. A confidence interval of ±5% was observed for these improvements. The study concludes that while there are regional disparities, implementing standardised diagnostic protocols has led to measurable enhancements in clinical efficacy. Recommendation is made for continued research and targeted interventions based on the identified performance variations. Rural Clinics, Senegal, Panel Data, Clinical Outcomes, Diagnostic Tools Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
