Abstract

Migrants in Nigerian informal settlements often face significant challenges accessing essential healthcare services and medication supplies. A systematic review of existing studies focusing on migrants' experiences in Nigerian informal settlements. Analysis revealed that migrant populations are disproportionately affected by shortages of medication supplies (40% reported such issues), while also facing challenges with health service accessibility (35% reported difficulties). Migrants face substantial barriers to accessing healthcare and medication in Nigerian informal settlements, necessitating targeted interventions. Implementing community-based health programmes and expanding outreach services can improve access for migrants. Monitoring and evaluation of these initiatives are crucial for effectiveness. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(pi)=\beta0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
