Abstract
Afrofuturism is a contemporary cultural movement that explores African futures through speculative fiction, art, and technology. A qualitative thematic analysis of Afrofuturist literature and policy documents from Niger. Themes such as technological integration for social welfare and traditional knowledge protection emerged prominently. Afrofuturism offers nuanced insights into Niger's future development, highlighting the need for inclusive technology adoption and cultural preservation strategies. Policy makers should integrate Afrofuturist perspectives in planning to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth and cultural heritage conservation.
