Abstract

Côte d'Ivoire is a country rich in academic institutions with significant potential for knowledge production and dissemination, particularly within the field of African Studies. This study employs a qualitative approach to review literature on university roles in knowledge production and dissemination within African Studies contexts. The theoretical framework underscores the importance of fostering collaborative models to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application in Africa. Recommendations include initiating dialogue between universities and community stakeholders, encouraging interdisciplinary approaches, and implementing more inclusive curricula that reflect local contexts.
