Methodological Evaluation of District Hospitals Systems in Uganda Using Panel Data for Adoption Rate Measurement

Uganda faces challenges in healthcare delivery, particularly in district hospitals where resource allocation and service adoption rates vary significantly. A meta-analysis approach was employed using longitudinal data from multiple districts. Panel-data techniques were applied to account for both time-invariant and time-varying factors influencing service utilization. The analysis revealed a positive correlation between district-level funding and adoption rates of preventive healthcare services, with an estimated coefficient of 0.85 (95% CI: [0.72, 0.98]). Panel-data methods provided robust insights into the dynamics of service adoption in Ugandan district hospitals, highlighting the importance of consistent resource allocation.
