Abstract

Community health centers in Nigeria face challenges related to service delivery and patient outcomes. A panel data estimation technique was applied to assess the impact of various factors on clinical outcomes across different sites in Nigeria. Panel data analysis revealed that patient adherence to prescribed medications had a significant positive effect (β = 0.25, p < 0.01) on treatment success rates. The study highlights the importance of improved medication adherence for better clinical outcomes in community health centers. Implementing educational programmes for patients and healthcare providers is recommended to enhance medication adherence. Community Health Centers, Nigeria, Panel Data, Clinical Outcomes, Medication Adherence Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
