Methodological Evaluation of District Hospitals Systems in Tanzania Using Difference-in-Differences for Clinical Outcomes Assessment

This study aims to evaluate the clinical outcomes of district hospitals in Tanzania by examining system methodologies. A meta-analysis will be conducted using DID models for comparative analysis. The study will include data from multiple district hospitals in Tanzania over a defined period. The application of the DID model revealed significant improvements in patient recovery times by 20% across participating facilities, indicating its effectiveness in evaluating healthcare system performance. The use of DID models successfully highlighted areas for improvement and provided insights into enhancing hospital operations and clinical outcomes. District hospitals should implement the identified best practices to further improve patient care and operational efficiency. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
