Abstract

Rural clinics in Tanzania face challenges in delivering consistent clinical outcomes due to variability in systems and resource allocation. A comprehensive search of peer-reviewed journals was conducted using databases such as PubMed and Cochrane Library. Studies published between and were included, with a focus on methodological quality assessment using the Quality in Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (QROAS) tool. The multilevel regression analysis revealed that clinic-level factors such as staff training duration significantly influenced patient recovery rates by 15% compared to baseline values. This review highlights the necessity for standardised methodological approaches and robust clinical outcome measurements in rural health systems, particularly in Tanzania. Health policymakers should prioritise enhancing training programmes for clinic staff and implementing consistent monitoring mechanisms to improve patient outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
