Abstract

Maternal health in Malawi has seen significant challenges, particularly regarding postnatal care services which can improve maternal and neonatal outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data collection methods including surveys and structured observations. Community leaders reported an increase in engagement by 20% through tailored education sessions targeting key community influencers. The system showed promise in improving postnatal care services but requires further refinement to address persistent issues. Further research should focus on sustainability and scalability of the model, considering broader demographic variations. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
