Abstract

Emergency care units in Senegal face challenges in delivering timely and effective medical interventions. A quasi-experimental design with data collection from multiple emergency units across different regions of Senegal. Statistical analysis will employ linear regression models to assess the impact of various interventions on patient outcomes. Emergency response times were notably longer in rural areas compared to urban centers, indicating a need for infrastructure improvements. The quasi-experimental design highlighted disparities and inefficiencies that require targeted policy reforms to enhance emergency care delivery. Immediate investments should be prioritised in healthcare facilities in remote regions, with ongoing monitoring of system performance post-reform implementation. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(pi)=\beta0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
