Abstract

Comparative Arts and Humanities Studies in Nigerian Regions explore diverse cultural expressions and scholarly approaches across Nigeria's various linguistic and geographical regions. The study employs a qualitative approach involving interviews with stakeholders from selected regions, document analysis of existing policies, and thematic synthesis of literature related to Arts and Humanities education. A notable finding is the significant variation in funding allocations between Northern and Southern Nigeria for Arts and Humanities projects, influencing regional disparities in educational resources. The comparative analysis reveals distinct strengths and challenges regionally, necessitating tailored policy interventions to address these disparities effectively. Policy makers should prioritise equitable resource distribution across regions to ensure balanced development of Arts and Humanities programmes.
