Abstract

Lake Victoria is a critical habitat for various fish species, supporting significant livelihoods in Kenya's Lake Victoria region. No empirical data or results are presented; the article focuses on conceptual development and analysis of existing CLFA practices. The theoretical framework identifies key areas for improvement to enhance sustainability within CLFAs on Lake Victoria. Enhanced community involvement, improved monitoring systems, and broader stakeholder cooperation are recommended to sustain fisheries resources.
