Abstract
African philosophy has gained increasing attention in recent years as scholars examine its contributions to global ethical debates. The analysis is based on a review of existing literature and interviews with key stakeholders who have contributed to the development of ethical frameworks in Tanzania. Tanzania's unique cultural context has influenced its philosophical approaches, leading to distinct themes such as environmental stewardship and community solidarity. The integration of Tanzanian perspectives enriches global ethical discussions by offering culturally relevant insights that address local challenges effectively. Policy makers should consider incorporating these Tanzanian perspectives into their frameworks for addressing social issues, particularly in areas like sustainable development and conflict resolution.
