Abstract
Rural communities in Malawi often face challenges related to livelihood security due to limited access to reliable energy sources. Qualitative analysis was employed through interviews with local stakeholders, surveys, and observations in selected villages. While renewable energy has improved livelihood security, challenges such as access to financing remain prevalent. Enhanced financial support mechanisms and community engagement strategies are recommended for sustained success of future projects.
