Abstract

Community health centers in Ethiopia face challenges in service delivery efficiency. A systematic literature review using PRISMA guidelines to identify, assess, and synthesize relevant studies on Ethiopian community health centers. The analysis revealed that the quasi-experimental design was predominantly used (60%) with moderate heterogeneity in yield improvement estimates. Quasi-experimental methods are effective for assessing yield improvements but variability exists among different settings. Future studies should consider a wider range of designs and incorporate more robust data sources to enhance comparability. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
