Abstract

Community health centres in Senegal face challenges in delivering efficient healthcare services. A randomized field trial was conducted to assess the performance of community health centres. Data collection included patient flow, service delivery time, and staff productivity measures. The analysis revealed an average improvement in service delivery times by 15% (95% CI: 8-23%) after intervention, indicating enhanced efficiency. Randomized field trials can effectively measure the impact of interventions on healthcare system efficiency. Future studies should consider scaling up these findings to broader geographic areas and incorporate feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement. Community Health Centres, Efficiency Enhancement, Randomized Field Trial, Senegal Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
